Let’s get ready to play some Christmas bingo! This super fun game is great for kids of all ages and there are so many ways to play!

If you’re a parent, you’ll have fun playing with your kids and watching them learn and get excited. If you’re a teacher, this makes a great resource to add some fun to the classroom. This game also works great for ESL teachers and learners. Whether you’re a native or non-native English speaker, you’ll have a lot of fun!

Now how to play it. The download comes with one set of cards and 3 boards. The pictures on the boards are the same but their placement differs. Now for the three ways you can play the game.

Bingo

Once you’ve printed one set of boards and cards, cut out the cards. Every player should have their own unique game board, so no more than 3 players.

Grab something to use as a place markers. You can use coins, checkers or even goldfish! Give markers to each player.

The moderator (usually an adult or older child) should turn all the cards upside down. When everyone is ready, the moderator can take a card from the top of the pile. They can either describe the image or name it. Each player should place a marker on the corresponding image on their board. The first player to get three in a row wins the game.

Tic-Tac-Toe

The tic-tac-toe variation is also a lot of fun. You’ll need two players. The game is played according to traditional tic-tac-toe rules.

You need one board and one set of cards. Each player draws a card and places it on the board, alternating turns.

However, before a player can put a card down as their ‘X or O’, they need to describe or name the picture. This will encourage them to learn how to say new words and sound them out.

Memory Game

Playing a memory game is a great variation for younger children. Print two sets of cards, cut them out, and scramble them up. Place them face down and use them as a memory game! This is a perfect game for one or more children.
