How do you play? The download includes a board and instructions, plus two card sheets. Cut out the cards and give each player a set of 6 cards, so they each have their own color.
Have the players turn their cards upside down. Taking turns, they each choose a card and place it on the board, trying to get three across, down or up, before the other player.
If you want to be the ‘moderator’, have the kids follow the same instructions as above, but instead of just placing a random card on the board when it is their turn, have them say or spell the word, or use the word in a sentence.
You can vary the level of difficulty depending on the age of the children playing the game. Alternatively, use just the cards, making sure each card has a match. Mix them all up, flip them upside down, and turn tic-tac-toe into a memory game!
