Day 2 – Romero Britto Art Project for Kids

Inspired by the art of Romero Britto, this art activity combines coloring, cutting, and drawing in order to create a giant jigsaw puzzle.

Romero Britto is a painter, sculptor, and Neo-Pop artist. He was born in Brazil and currently resides in Miami, Fl., USA. His works combine and reflect several styles, including Cubism, Pop-art, and graffiti art.

Over the next nine days, we will post a part of the picture below. Your artist will be able to color and draw on (we have left some blank spaces for drawing) each piece. Then, on day nine, they can piece together their art work and enjoy the effect!

We are posting a photo of a completed puzzle/artwork, but while we enjoy sharing, we do hope that each artist will “own” their own work of art. We would be delighted to see the work of your artist(s)!

Completed Romero Britto inspired artwork of a duck with flowers, hearts, circles, triangles, squares, ovals, strips, rectangles, circles and stars.
